Dr. Anna Faktorovich is the Director and Founder of the Anaphora Literary Press. Previously, she taught college English for three years at the Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and the Middle Georgia State College. She has a Ph.D. in English Literature and Criticism. She published two academic books with McFarland: Rebellion as Genre in the Novels of Scott, Dickens and Stevenson (2013) and The Formulas of Popular Fiction: Elements of Fantasy, Science Fiction, Romance, Religious and Mystery Novels. There is also a scene later in the book that describes a Mexican fiesta in which there is parades and dancing. The plot methodically moves along, and readers watch as Sasha gets humiliated while Theo becomes a super star in Hollywood. Well organized and doesn't take a lot for granted. It is a practical but "American Higher Education" centered book. No deceptive out-of-context tricks here. “Oh my god!” was all I could say. These checklists allow the readers to have an understanding of the basic steps while being flexible enough to be applied to any industry.
Another great characteristic is the tone of the book. The cover is bright and colorful and re4ally has a lot of detail to it. HHJ was suppose to have gone to the overlook there to write, including parts of Ramona. (And silent movies, at least, had cards when things got confusing.)
