There may be some good ideas in others of his books (I am sure there must be), but this book is truly awful. In 3.5 years their company was valued by investors at $1 billion. I've ordered another copy to give as a gift to a freelancer friend who is starting out.. Others, particularly anti-pornography feminists such as Catharine MacKinnon (who is mentioned in the book), seem to have an abiding faith that such films really do exist. But it describes a very specialized field, and its copyright date could give some people a false impression as to the currency of its content. It appears that he tends to ignore this war crime, although he apparently was not a participant. The primary target audience is Native North Americans, but I hope this does not discourage any non-Native from reading the book. What Ann Sattley achieves in this short exposé is a whirlwind tour of a wide range of pointless, contradictory, unenforceable, outdated, or unjust (and sometimes all the above) laws that go
